The Greeley Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (GPYO) is thrilled to announce its free concert on April 13th! While the GPYO performed with a small ensemble at the United Way Children's Festival, this is the first stage performance of a GPO youth chamber ensemble in more than 50 years! The GPYO will showcase the remarkable abilities of young musicians from across the region under the baton of esteemed music educator Doran Azari.

Her music has been represented on hundreds of CDs and is played by concert bands the world over. Projects she has worked on have been nominated for Oscars, Emmys, Grammys and Golden Globe awards. She has won individual Emmy Awards in the field of “Outstanding Individual Achievement in Music Direction.” When she won her first Emmy Award, she was the first woman and the youngest person to ever win that award. She has won it three times.
On February 3rd, 2024, the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra will premiere the symphonic orchestration of Giroux’s 6th symphony: The Blue Marble, complete with video, audio enhancement, and even scents. In celebration, the GPO conducted a brief interview.

The Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra (GPO) is seeking a motivated and passionate Executive Director who will lead and inspire the organization, ensure sustainability, and promote growth.
Annual salary range $82,300 – $97,300. Health, Dental, and Vision benefits are offered. Moving expenses will not be reimbursed by the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra. Position is not eligible for remote work. Job posting closes end of day April 30, 2023.
