2023 Festival of Trees
Kicking off the Friday after Thanksgiving, Festival of Trees welcomes the community to a winter wonderland of beautifully decorated trees and family fun in the lobbies of the Union Colony Civic Center.
Visitors can tour the trees during public hours, enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride, look through a wide range of gifts in the silent auction, or attend one of the festival's signature events.
Don’t miss a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus! All proceeds made during this event will support the Union Colony Civic Center and the Greeley Philharmonic Guild.

GPO Names 2nd Magic Baton Melody Contest Winner
Alex Sewell, a sophomore violinist from Greeley West High School won the GPO Magic Baton Melody Contest with her melody "Fleurs dans les nuages (Flowers in the Clouds)” which was written during and after a composition workshop with Fixmer. The composition has been orchestrated by Fixmer and will be premiered at the GPO’s final concert of the season, Sounds of Cinema.

The GPO Announces Search for Executive Director
The Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra (GPO) is seeking a motivated and passionate Executive Director who will lead and inspire the organization, ensure sustainability, and promote growth.
Annual salary range $82,300 – $97,300. Health, Dental, and Vision benefits are offered. Moving expenses will not be reimbursed by the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra. Position is not eligible for remote work. Job posting closes end of day April 30, 2023.

Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra CEO Nick Kenny taking on a new career path in 2023
The changing of the seasons is just as relevant to our lives as it is to the colors of the leaves and the weather. Sometimes change is good, and then, sometimes it’s not. No matter what the case may be, life is in a constant flux of change.
Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra Chief Executive Officer Nick Kenny is embracing his own season of change by announcing that he is resigning from the GPO to pursue a new career path.
Kenny’s last day with the orchestra is Jan. 29.
“Nick has hugely benefited the GPO with his energy, creativity and musical expertise,” said Glenda Haines, GPO Board president. “He was incredibly important in making the GPO more visible to a younger demographic, and we are truly grateful for all his contributions to the GPO.”
