This concert celebrates the legendary career of John Williams. An Air Force veteran, Oscar winner, and honorary knight with 124 film scores, John Williams is one of Hollywood’s most iconic figures. The concert begins with the triumphant “Olympic Fanfare and Theme” written for the 1984 LA Summer Olympics. The orchestra continues with some of Williams’ most notable film scores, including “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” portraying humanity’s attempt to communicate with extraterrestrial life, “The Adventures of Indiana Jones”, following archaeologist Dr. Henry Walton Jones on his perilous adventures, and the iconic “Star Wars”.

His gift for memorable themes, emotional depth, and dramatic storytelling has produced some of cinema’s most iconic scores. A master of orchestral color and power, he creates music that is inseparable from the films it elevates.
